I had a look around the house after what you said and realised that all the walls are plain white and the floors upstairs are all painted white and downstairs the floors are either stone or laminate flooring, a bit like an artist's canvas. It is definitely the bits and pieces that give the house it's character.Fiona(who sleeps in that bedroom) has exactly the same taste as myself(though not on the Brutalism front), we love Cath Kidston and both of us are very much inspired by the Yvestown blog.All the art work in Fiona's room is done by her,very talented that one..
