Brings back a few memories for me too! This song was used as the starting on a series that Doris Day had here in America, which I vaguely remember watching as a child.

If only I could look so polished as I'm doing my housework and singing to my children!!!! Ha ha ha!

That's exactly the dress I wear when I'm making the beds and tapping my son tenderly on the nose! My shoes are tan kid with a t-strap and a slightly higher heel and of course I wear pearls but otherwise, that's my bed-making-ensemble.
Oops! Gotta change into my Chanel dog-walking ensemble. Where the hell are my elbow-length gloves?

An Irish Blessing

(A Blessing from St. Patrick)
May the road rise to meet you,

May the wind be always at your back,

May the sun shine warm upon your face,

May the rains fall soft upon your fields,

And, until we meet again,

May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.
